He is absolutely wonderful! He has gone a mile and a half to take care of us in our home buying process. He is a buyer’s agent but he will save you money by giving free advice (no agent fee for him at closing) should you choose to sell your home by owner. He also buys a home warranty for your new home out of his agent fee from who you buy your home from. He used to be a contractor and his expertise in home construction was fantastic to have since we were looking at older homes to get more house for our dollar. And he has a network of people to fix just about anything. We had a ton of repairs to do in our home (sellers refused to fix) we just bought. So he made an addendum to the closing statement, having the sellers buy the warranty instead of him and HE paid his guy to get most of it fixed for the price of the home warranty. He also had a cracked window fixed and billed the sellers through closing costs. He has be so helpful and patient with us. He works around our schedule. Sometimes he seemed more invested than we were. He would extensively research any property we wanted to make an offer on to find any grounds for offering a lower price. Because we were so particular about our criteria, he let me look for the ones we wanted to see and periodically made suggestions if he found one he thought we might like. He has the second highest selling rate on Zillow but 1st place is a team of 5 agents and their per agent rate is lower than his. Also, he’s very down to earth and he’s a country gent. Very personable. I have absolutely no complaint which says something for me because my history with real estate agents.
